Trailside Yoga Social Media + Marketing Internship

Internship Overview:

During your semester internship with Trailside Yoga + Beyond, you will learn how to operate a small business’ social media + marketing channels within a local market. By the end of your semester commitment, you will have an understanding of how we cultivate organic, positive relationships within our community, how to plan + execute marketing campaigns, and learn about the day to day workings of a yoga studio. You will gain on the job training + experience that will transfer into a job of marketing and/or social media management.

This internship is a commitment for (1) semester. This internship is unpaid, and you will receive an unlimited monthly membership to Trailside Yoga during your time with us.

Responsibilities:

You will report to, and work closely with the Marketing + Communications Director, your responsibilities will include:

Assist in brainstorming and planning social media content alongside the Marketing + Communications Director and our Ambassadors.

Assist in the creation of organic social media content for Trailside’s current top-level accounts on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Threads.

Assist in monitoring Trailside Yoga’s social media platform

Engage with the Trailside community via social media

Weekly meetings at the studio with the Marketing + Communications Director

Regular + reliable communication is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain harmonious working relationships with others.

Preferred Qualifications:

Be a current University of Arkansas student pursuing a degree in advertising, public relations, journalism, communications, marketing, english, or a related field

Be active on social media platforms including but not limited to Instagram, TikTok, Twitter and Facebook

Schedule flexibility to attend campus events during the day as well as evening and periodical weekends

Must have reliable transportation
