Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of yoga do you offer?

The style of yoga we teach is called Hatha Yoga, which is the most common type of yoga in the West. We have several different types of classes to suit your needs. None of our classes are classified as “beginner” or “advanced” because all of our classes are open to anyone. We offer & encourage modifications so you can find the variation of each pose that is right for you. A description of our classes can be found here.

I’m new to yoga, I haven’t done yoga in a long time, or I’ve been injured. What class should I take?

We encourage our students to take whatever classes they want, and to modify the poses to suit their needs. With that said, if you are looking for a more gentle class, we recommend our SLOFlow, Restorative or Yin classes.

How much do classes cost?

You can find details about our pricing here.

Explain the heated vs. heat-optional classes. How hot are the heated classes?

How do I book a class?

Our Dynamic Flow classes are heated. We have top-of-the-line infrared heaters, which heat the individual, not just the air in the room. The temperature depends upon the outside temperature and how many students are in class, but a typical heated class is approximately 90 degrees. Our SLOFlow & Shakti Flow classes are heat-optional, meaning the heater near you can be turned on if you want heat. Our Restorative, Yin, & Prenatal classes are not heated.

Click here to view our schedule. Once there, click on the class you want to book. If you do not yet have an account, you will be taken to a link to create an account. You can pay and book your classes from that page. We also have a free mobile app called Wellness Living Achieve we encourage you to download to your phone to book classes.

Do you rent mats or do I need to bring my own? What about props?

Most people bring their own mats, but we also have mats you can rent if you don’t have one or if you forget yours. We provide high quality props, including 2 kinds of bolsters, 2 kinds of blocks, and straps, free of charge.
